Galinda stomped to her desk and collapsed into her chair with a dramatic huff. “Since you'd rather read than listen to your best friend, I’ll just go back to writing then!” She huffed again, louder. Just in case Elphaba didn’t hear it the first time.
"Fine.” Elphaba said, crossing the room to sit directly in front of Galinda on the floor. She rested an elbow on both of Galinda's knees and popped her chin lazily on one arm.
“I am listening now.”

Richie’s sure he’s changed, too; in fact, he knows he has. None of these people know what kind of life he’s led, and he feels like he’s got about a million years of stories worth catching up on for them, too.
