Summary
Lily is calling Shane for the first time ever, and it's in the middle of a rowdy locker room, and they haven't spoken in two months since the tuna melt and first names situation. Lily called twice before Shane was sent to press following a win. There he is asked about the leaked explicit photographs between himself and rival, Ilya Rozanov.
Ilya immediately flies to Montreal to face his feelings for Shane, no longer needing to hide in shadows as their lives become more public than ever. Russia cancels Ilya's passport and he becomes stuck in Canada, forcing both Shane and Ilya into decisions they were barely ready to make.
Ilya and Shane come to a head with their public personas as their true selves take shape for everyone to see. What they didn't know was how thrilling and freeing it would be to let go of everything that held them at arms length from the other, embracing the versions of themselves they see in each other instead of what prying public eyes decide to make of them.
Could it be possible to lose everything that defined them as rivals but gain something so much more in the love they hold each other?
