Xavier’s face was creased with concern, his brow furrowing in that way Sylus found adorable. As Xavier's hands fluttered around the wound on Sylus' head, he couldn't conceal the worry on his usually stoic face. To Sylus’ amusement and shock, his blue eyes almost appeared glassy with unshed tears.
Although he felt lightheaded from the bloodloss, Sylus couldn't help but notice how brightly Xavier shone. Even surrounded by death and decay, Sylus’ eyes remained fixated on Xavier.They always were.
He'd been a fool to believe he could keep himself from falling. He knew, in that instant, that he was in love—and had been for quite some time.

Which makes it all the more surprising when Azula tracks the Avatar down and fights his group of peasant friends, only to find herself staring into an eerily familiar face.
