“Just… trouble in paradise.” Hayato leans back, placing an arm over Nirei’s seat. “How would you feel if I move back here, Nirei?”
“Happy, of course.” Nirei beams at him excitedly, only to turn sad as soon as he understands what his friend is saying. “But Sakura didn’t support the idea?”
Hayato shrugs.
“He doesn’t see the need to. He’s content with our arrangement.”
“Oh, you mean where he goes to see you or you come here to see him?”
“Yeah.”
“And you’re no longer happy with your, err, kind of long distance relationship?”
That’s when Hayato paused.
He then turns to Nirei who’s waiting for an answer from him as if he didn’t just hinted that he knew about him and Haruka.
“What?” Nirei asked when Hayato is just staring at him. “You think we didn’t know here? He told us when you made it official three years ago.”
“He did?”
“Yeah, he did. He gathered those who are available and arranged a meet up in Pothos. We all came. He told us then.”
“How—“
“Suo, you really think Sakura could keep a secret when he’s happy?”
