Certain vending machines on campus require exact change.
Kaz Brekker knows this. Loathes this. Has lobbied for the replacement and improvement of the machines which still exclusively take exact change.
And yet he still finds himself standing in front of one of the two change machines on campus (he really should just go to the bank) in order to cram a few bucks into it to get some change.~*~*~*~*~
There were only a handful of vending machines on campus that required exact change. But this one, nestled into the back hallway happened to have a Suli mango pop flavored one that reminded Inej of her parents and summer and the sea and the wind (and maybe it was starting to remind her of someone else too).

It’s not uncommon for Ochako to encounter computer errors.
She just wants to finish her expense report. It's late (more early than late at this point) and there is only so much coffee can do to a fourteen hour work day, a few all-nighters, and the persistent whirr of her computer refusing to update her report.
She swears to All-Might, if it freezes or crashes one more time....Luckily someone else is looking out for her who is just a little bit familiar with computers.
She might have gotten tangled up in a deep web of codes and hackers, but at least her expense report is done. Right?
