Her mouth thinned at the mismatched eyes staring back at her, the paint from its smile still dripping down the dark wood of her office door, proof of just how recent this drawing had to have been. At least it wasn’t a monkey this time, she’s not sure her heart could handle the reappearance of Jinx’s infamous signature.
