Summary
Midoriya Izuku, at the age of 9 years old, has healed and revived more pro heroes than he could count on his tiny hands. He sits on the dirty concrete floor of his ‘room’ staring at the white door, just waiting for another doctor wearing a knee length lab coat to pull him up and out of his room to another horrifying sight for him to heal. He isn’t stupid. He knew he wasn’t supposed to be here. He knew that he should be outside playing with his friends on rusty swing-sets and playing tag and crying when he fell and scraped his knees and getting tucked into bed, after a warm dinner, accompanied with a kiss on his forehead, but he wasn’t.
He was stuck with ‘toys’ he tore into the shape of people from the paper towels his meals were delivered in, and the closest thing he got to a kiss on the forehead was after he healed a patient who was near death, he got a pat on the head after he was thrown onto the thin mattress on the floor of his room.
