Si a un hechicero lo mataban con energía maldita, estaba bien. Eso significaba que no se convertiría en una maldición después de su muerte y, dependiendo de la cantidad de energía maldita que manejara en vida, era directamente proporcional al grado de maldición en el que se convertiría; Por eso a los usuarios malditos los mataban otros hechiceros.
La historia, en cambio, era diferente cuando moría por cualquier motivo que involucrara la ausencia de energía maldita: Una bala, una puñalada, un accidente de transito; Mientras no hubiera energía maldita de por medio, estabas condenado a convertirte en una maldición.
