    Harbouring a passion for cybernetics, Aphelios had always had a plan.

    First was to craft a synthetic body to implant his conciousness into.
    Second was to craft a body for Alune, giving her a physical form once more.
    Finally, show humans that synthetic humans are not just mindless machines.

    Nowhere in that plan did Aphelios expect to meet a bounty hunter known as The Boss. But sure enough, when Sett showed up on his door, bleeding and hardly concious, Aphelios had no choice but to help.

    And for the first time in decades, encountered with a flesh and blood human, Aphelios wondered if he truly was just a machine.
