But Tenko cut him off, raising his voice into a shout loud enough so that he was sure that even the sand benders could hear, “Long live Fire Lord Lu Ten!”
The other solider echoed the same sentiment, although he turned then so that his eyes met Lu Ten’s as he said it, “May his reign finally bring an end to this accursed war, and our nation can finally live in peace.”After surviving what should have been his death by falling into the Spirit Library—and seven years into the future—Lu Ten meets children heading straight toward what he believes is an active war zone.
Changed by the siege and the words of his dying soldiers, he is determined to end the war they died for.
But first, he has children to protect.
It’s hardly been a day since he’s met them, and already Lu Ten knows that he would do anything to keep these children away from the war, even if one of them is the Avatar.

1. Tale of the Dragon and the Acrobat (Pre-Avatar S1)
2. Tale of the Phoenix and the Boar (Pre-Avatar S1)
3. Tale of the Prodigy and the Acrobat (Pre-Avatar S1)
4. Tale of the Monkey and the Eagle (Pre-Avatar S1)
5. Tale of the Six Hundred Day siege (Pre-Avatar S1)
6. Tale of the Girl and the Moon (Pre-Avatar S1)
7. Tale of Restoration (Post-Avatar S3)
8. Tale of the Dragon and the Eagle (Post-Avatar S3)
9. Tale of Aang the Last Airbender (Post-Avatar S3)
10. Tale of Korra (Legend of Korra)
Everything else is basically what-If’s. So read if you want to. Let it be known that anything that happens in the aforementioned three, can also be applied to the other what if’s should they happen before it. For example, Tale of Ba Sing Se’s Last Secret takes place in Avatar season two, so since Tale of the Phoenix and the Boar takes place pre-avatar season one, the two stories can be read in conjunction with each other.
