Thankfully, returning to work hasn't been as difficult as Eddie had expected, but the downside is that Buck is no longer his partner.
Adjustments were made when he initially left the team, so Buck got paired up with Ravi. They seem to work well together, but it's been hard for Eddie to step aside and watch someone else have Buck's back.
Or, another "Eddie is jealous of Buck and Ravi's partnership" because I can't get enough of those. 🥰

"I missed you too," Eddie tells him which is the truth. He liked working with Marjan, but he ended up talking her ear off about Buck, which is slightly embarrassing now that he thinks about it. At this point, he might as well just stamp Property of Evan Buckley right across his forehead.

He knew there was something way off about Walker, but he truly hadn't expected him to murder anyone. Few things actually shocked Sam anymore, but absolutely nothing could have prepared him for what went down earlier.

It's small, so he figures it must have been pushed through the mail slot. Or maybe it was thrown over the wall because it feels soft enough not to be fragile. There's no postage or return address, just a holiday sticker with his name printed on it in handwriting that Niall doesn't recognize.
