    Adora is a nun about to find out what the Sisters of Eve are all about in Whiteveil. She embarks on a hunt to slay evil, finding a witch deep in the nearby woods. What she finds there is a choice that will test her faith and what it means to do good for the world.

    Currently has a Castlevania tag because that's the stick I'm measuring against... whether or not this would exist in the Castlevania universe ^_^
    I don't expect this to be any more than 5 - 10 chapters but I can't put that as the endpoint so I'm giving you that here. I promise to finish what I start, dear reader.

    Catra and Adora live alone on a hill on the edge of the Whispering Woods, they had a kid.
    As tragedy strikes, and Catra couldn't accept it, she went into the deepest parts of the Whispering Woods where it was said you could meet faeries who would grant your wishes.

    Time goes by and they “raise” Finn for years, yet eventually it becomes obvious they’re not… growing. So Catra takes Finn to visit Mme Razz who asks her what she wished for. With the whole story, she explains “A baby is what you wished for. And the faeries… They keep their promises, Deary”.

    Can the couple strike a new deal with the faeries? What will this entail? Will Catra, Adora, and Finn get their happy ending?
    Long, long ago in Etheria, there was a modest but cozy cabin on a hill at the edge of the Whispering Woods. If I was there that time, I would not be here now. But as I am, I have one small story.

    Together they’re unstoppable.

    It doesn’t matter that they haven't been friendly with each other for ages, that each training session they had was filled with nasty jeers and emotional stabs, because deep down they knew one another.

    Their short program went perfectly yesterday, giving them a strong start. This free skate will capture their win, Catra’s sure of it. They’re the final performance.

    As they reach their starting positions on the rink, the crowd goes quiet. In fact, the whole world goes quiet, and it’s just Adora and Catra staring at each other. Their arguments and bickering melt away, and Adora peers straight into Catra’s soul, as though to ask if she’s ready.

    Catra doesn’t have time to respond. The music kicks up and her body starts moving, muscle memory already in play.

    She meets Adora’s eyes for what she hopes is the last time, memorises the stormy blue of her irises. “I don’t have to stay and watch it happen.”

    “Catra, please,” Adora rises to her knees. She hugs Catra’s bag with one hand and begs, “Stay. I need you.”

    “No you don’t,” Catra can tolerate a lot of things, but hearing Adora lie to her hurts the most. She asks Melog to cloak her and Melog listens without complaints. “You never have."

    She disappears from Adora’s sight.

    Catra always thought that it would be her and Adora ruling the world together, but as Horde Prime’s power grows and Adora chooses to sacrifice her life for everyone else, Catra decides that she will not stand aside and watch the person she loves die. So, she runs away. But when she learns of Horde Prime’s plans to corrupt the Heart and claim its power, she returns and decides that if Adora must die, then Catra won’t let her do it alone.
