Summary

She also means the obscure 'mating run' of Old Valyria which has happened a handful of times in Westerosi history. An ancient tradition that sends Targaryen omegas into the godswood to be claimed by an alpha after they come of age.
Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, heir to the throne, presents as an omega and finds her mate in the Captain of the City Watch. Years later, her younger brother Aemond is born an omega.
But only a dragon can love a dragon...and there is only one alpha to match Aemond Targaryen's fire.

But then, he realises, no, he couldn’t have had any of them because if he had, then he would be depriving himself of the gorgeous sight before his eyes right now.
