As she speaks, her wandering hand moves around Wei Ying's thigh, inching up bit by bit, testing; still going easy on Wei Ying, but with more surety now. It steals her hazy focus briefly, for what feels like measureless hours; maybe time has stopped itself, has been rendered insignificant by the magnitude of Lan Zhan's touch.
Breathless, Wei Ying makes an inquisitive, "Oh?" sound.
Lan Zhan's damp breath coasts against her skin as she affirms, "Having you, in any way, can only feel like a dream."

Or, an arranged marriage canon-divergent fic where the war doesn't happen, the golden core loss doesn't happen, but Jiang Fengmian and Madame Yu still die, Jiang Cheng is the sect leader, and Lan Wangji is still called Hanguang-jun because, well, look at him.
