Summary
Makoto Naegi has one chance to fix everything, one chance to undo all the destruction and death that Junko Enoshima unleashed upon the world. He has been sent back in time, into the body of his younger self on that first day at Hope's Peak Academy. His goals are to save Hajime Hinata and to stop The Worst, Most Despair-inducing Incident in the History of Mankind by sabotaging Junko's plans.
But, navigating school and avoiding the critical eye of suspicion is difficult, especially with eyes as sharp as Kyoko Kirigiri and Togami Byakuya tracking his every move.
Fic is Rated M for detailed descriptions of death and violence, as well as one chapter with a small amount of attempted non-con (Chapter will be marked in the author's notes).

He sighed, not liking where this conversation was going. “I don’t know what you want from me.”
“I want you to stop running away.”
“Excuse me?”
“You’re scared,” she said, matter of factly. “You blame yourself for what happened so you avoid everything related to Hope’s Peak. But you don’t want to.”
“Kirigiri,” he started, smiling. "I can assure you I know very well what I want. I have a good job, an apartment. I’ve moved on.”
“But have you really?”
Nagito winced and immediately cursed himself for doing so.
“I can see it, Komaeda, so tell me the truth. The rest of your classmates left and began their lives. They moved on together. But you never left, did you? You’re still trapped in that school but you refuse to acknowledge it.”
“Wow,” he laughed nervously, losing what little composure he had. “Didn’t know I was at lunch with the ultimate psychologist. You never told me you had a hidden talent, Kirigiri.”
She shot him an unimpressed look. “I don’t know what I can say to change your mind about everything that happened, but I can give you a chance to quit hiding from the past.” She stood, reaching her gloved hand out towards him. “Come work for me.”

Summary
If you asked a deeper part of himself, perhaps he'd admit that he'd never been praised like this before. That being called incredible and capable made him feel so many things he'd never dreamed to ever acknowledge. Perhaps he’d dare to say this unknown person he’d never seen in his life was putting him in such a high pedestal, he never wanted to come down.
Hajime wanted to be someone. He wanted to be recognized as someone.
Anyone.
This person thought he was good. They thought he was capable. They liked his reasoning. They thought he was smart. Like he was not some average guy in the reserve course of the school he admired so much, but could never truly belong to.
It felt so good.
He accepted the request before he could second guess anything else.

Summary
Komaeda had a habit of attracting everyone’s attention whenever he was in a crowd. At one point, it was because of something that happened because of him, or something that he actually did. Now, all he needed to do was make a dramatic entrance, and it’s as if he was the center of the universe and everyone else was just a speck of dust. Ironic, given Komaeda himself had spent so many years believing the opposite.
