Summary
Noé doesn’t know some things about Vanitas. Vanitas doesn’t know some things about Noé. And both of them are perfectly okay with that. Or so it seems.
However, when a malnomen that is on the loose uses it’s powers to force them to see each other’s memories, both of them know that they’re not going to have a good time.
As the pair race against time, both have to find a way to get past each other’s memories and solve the unknown and hidden as they plough their way through each other’s separate experiences, as they also figure out aspects of themselves. Will they be able to do it? Or will their memories get the best of them…

Will Byers decided at eight years old that should any of his family be reaped, he would volunteer in their place—when it happens ten years later, he keeps his word. It’s his job to protect them, besides, it’s commonplace in District 4, where a fight breaks out every year trying to reach the podium. His plan, like everyone else’s, is to come back home. Until he’s asked to die.
Mike Wheeler wants to die. It’s not an open secret as much as it is a subtle fact, but he never expects it to be in the 124th Hunger Games. Being from 8, he’s little more than an already starving kid with a faulty heart, but when Holly’s name is drawn, he knows he’s got his wish: an easy way out, no fault of his own. Only, he cares too much.
