Since that day, Miles has moved through life in a haze, disillusioned with his father's profession which he once held in such high regard. Then one day he catches an interesting program on the news. About a trial. And a demonic prosecutor. Who happens to bear the face of an old friend.
The real Phoenix is in there, somewhere. And if Miles has to brave his childhood nightmares in order to find the tenderhearted boy he once knew, so be it.

The Mystery Skulls team has been through a lot, but they all came out the other side. A few more scars, a bit less trust, but it’s getting better. When people truly care about each other, life finds a way. And maybe undeath does too.
