Summary
When L-Corp is embroiled in a new scandal, Lena Luthor finds herself cooperating with a covert branch of the FBI in order to bring down the person or people trying to frame her. She and her COO, Samantha Arias, are required to spend an ever increasing amount of time with reporter, Kara Danvers and her sister, Special Agent Alex Danvers. Will a conflict of interest prevent Sam and Lena from exploring each of their relationships with the sisters further? Will they be able to solve the case before somebody else gets hurt? Who has the means and motivation to manipulate Lena's tech and be calculated in the way they choose to expose it to the world?

Kara didn't want to get up. She didn't want to go out there, to stand by the two caskets while people passed by and gave her condolences that did nothing but add to her despair. But one look over at Eliza, at the devastated mother who had just lost the last line to her late husband, and Kara knew she had to be the strong one. And as everyone began to enter and greet the families of the deceased, Kara thought that she had never hated crowds more than today.
