    -Raccoon City/Transformation-

“I love you too, Officer Kennedy.” Luis said playfully, giving Leon a wink. Leon smiled at his words before finally stepping out the door, shutting it behind him.

Luis lingered where he stood for just a moment before turning and walking back into their bedroom. He had to be to work soon, himself, though he was thankful he didn't have to work a twelve hour shift like Leon did.

“You better go easy on him, RPD.” Luis said softly as he got dressed for work, “I love him."

    ---

Leon and Luis are both nervous for Leon starting his first day as an officer at the Raccoon City Police department. Leon can't wait to get out there and start saving the world...all while his boyfriend works at a company that is likely to destroy it.

    Summary

Leon’s a vampire—an outcast, much like Luis, but for different reasons. He never talks much about why his clan cast him out, just like Luis never talks about the pack that abandoned him. It doesn’t matter, really. They both know what it feels like to be unwanted, to be pushed aside because you don’t fit into the neat little boxes people want to put you in. But now, Luis feels like the outcast out of the two of them. The way Leon is able to hold himself in such a way—to control himself—makes Luis ache with envy and something else he can’t quite name.

or: a vampire and his werewolf roommate inevitably fall in love because of course they would.

    Summary

“Oh, all flowers in time bend towards the sun.
I know you say that there's no-one for you, but here is one.”

Luis Serra Navarro has not had the best life. It seems that misery follows him around anywhere he goes, and he’s resigned himself to accepting misery as his only companion.

But then Leon S. Kennedy comes waltzing into his life, and suddenly he isn’t undeterred to give life another chance. If life managed to keep going on after everything that’s happened then that surely means that there’s something worth living for.

It’s funny what love does to a man.

    Summary

Luis died down in the mines. Leon witnessed it, sat there by his side as Luis took his last breath and held his hand through it. Leon thought he'd have to grieve him as he usually has to grieve everyone else he's lost through an amber liquid that burns as it slides down his throat.

He was fully prepared to mourn the man who should've been there by his side until the end, but when he enters his apartment, he sees Luis standing there, alarmed and confused, but above all else, alive.

    Summary

Leon knew touch far better than most would assume. It was the agony of a swift kick to the ribs, the clasp of fingers around the throat, or the strippage of personhood and individuality. The Government, the military training, the disaster at Raccoon City, even that orphanage from his childhood; all his life, Leon had been surrounded by a sea of meaningless and painful contact.

Hands were to be pinned or broken, never tenderly held. So, that impulsive decision to hold Luis Serra's hand as he'd died really hadn't been something Leon foresaw coming back to bite him in the ass. Irregardless, it had, and now Leon possessed no clue about how to combat it all. Rather than weaponising this one universal tool, Luis' touch instead verged on the unbearable. It was careful, gentle, and tender. It was agony in all the opposite ways than those Leon had come to expect.

How was he supposed to hold a hand so gently when he'd only ever been taught to break things? How was Leon meant to endure this when it all hurt so terribly?

Aka. Leon is very touch starved and dealing with the consequences of that are hard
