He missed Deku. He had gotten too used to getting home after a long patrol and being greeted with a beaming smile and an excited “Welcome home Kacchan!”
Now, after a week of arriving home to an empty apartment, Deku’s absence was starting to feel like a sharp ache in Katsuki’s chest.

Summary
Deep under the pile of blankets, Izuku shivered. The cold was seeping deep into his bones, keeping him from falling asleep.
The most effective way he had found to keep warm was to stick to his wonderful toasty boyfriend like a heat-seeking leech, but that particular frigid night was one of the rare late-night shifts that Katsuki just couldn’t escape, leaving Izuku and his poor circulation to try and keep warm all by himself. No matter how many layers he wore or how many blankets he burritoed himself into, he was unable to escape the cold.
