Summary
This story contains FICTIONAL, non-sexual spanking of FICTIONAL teenagers by their FICTIONAL authority figures. If that's not your thing, I urge you to turn back now. I was inspired to dip a toe in this pool by the brilliant TellMeNoAgain's Stark Ranch series. I'm shit at worldbuilding which is why we're just gonna jump into the action here. Let's pretend it's due to something more noble than laziness on the writer's part and say this is just how things operate in this very off-brand version of the good ol' Avengers Tower. Peter and Harley are Tony's adopted sons (I could tell you how this happened but here it's incidental) and as such they're low rungs on the ladder with more parental figures than they have good sense. In this extended, functionally dysfunctional family, rules are enforced, actions have consequences, those consequences suck ... but there is always, always comfort on the other side. And that last thing matters a lot when Peter and Harley find themselves in hot water with the Tower's resident super soldiers, for no better reason than that one of them wanted to have some stupid fun and the other one's juggling abandonment issues like bowling pins.

Summary
Steve Rogers and Clint Barton's dynamic in the original run of Avengers is one of the vibiest goddamn things I've ever seen in comic books. Clint even tells Steve to wash his mouth out with soap in issue #42.
So I did. And then Steve spanked Clint, because he deserved it.
Contains a brief reference to Clint's abusive Dad, because I feel like it needs to be brought up, but it shouldn't spoil the fun.
