    He paused, tilting his head as he heard a familiar voice, brow furrowing as he looked back to Hunter and the others, who were standing at the bottom of the ramp into the Marauder, staring into the open door with shock upon their faces.

    “You’ve made us stop for this?” Crosshair asked in disbelief as he stepped up, head tilted in the direction of the door. “You act like you’ve never heard Tech sing before.”

    “I haven’t,” Omega spoke up, voice oddly soft and eyes wide with wonder. Crosshair frowned at that, looking to Echo and Hunter, who exchanged sad looks.

    “He hasn’t…” Hunter mumbled, averting his eyes from Crosshair’s.

    “He hasn’t sung since…since the chips activated,” Echo admitted heavily, meeting Crosshair’s horrified gaze.
