An eyeroll so extreme it must have hurt. “No, Derek, he doesn’t know you’re my boyfriend.” And then, all of a sudden, Stiles had softened, and taken Derek’s hand where it was still in a death-vise around the steering wheel, and Derek’s brain had gone quiet all of a sudden, like static after someone severed the connection to an amp, and Stiles had kissed first Derek’s knuckles, then his palm, and then cupped Derek’s hand in his own. “No, he doesn’t know,” he said, quietly and reassuringly. “I won’t be telling him until you’re ready, I swear.” And just like that, the mischief came back to glint in his eyes. “But that doesn’t mean I’m not going to do my best to give you as many kicks in the ass as you need to make you be ready.”Derek and Stiles are dating. Stiles' dad doesn't know. Until he does.
