Summary
Over a year of radio silence is all Peter Parker needed to understand where he stood with Tony Stark. Now, Spider-Man works alone, and Peter is done looking for a call back. Peter has built a new life, juggling high school, being Spider-Man, and surviving the foster care system that has once again, taken him from his Aunt May.
But when Tony saunters back in New York, Avengers Reassembled, he wants his boy soldier back. He’s expecting the grateful kid from Berlin. What he finds is a hero who’s grown to hate him. “I know you got a secret identity and all, but let me know if you ever need a job.”
Peter couldn’t help the snort. If only the man knew that he was already working for him. “I’ll let you know.”
There must have been something off about his tone, because Tony narrowed his eyes at him and just stared for a few seconds. Peter tilted his head innocently.
“No way you already work for me.”
An innocuous comment sparks an idea that Spider-Man is a Stark Industries employee. Which he is, but surely that’s not enough to out him, is it?
Tony will not rest until his crazy theory gets proven correct.

Summary
Deadpool does a better job understanding Spider-Man's strengths and limitations as an autistic super than pretty much anyone else does. This doesn't stop Peter from getting involved with a cult while investigting a series of suicide bombers. He's just that much of a disaster, autistic or not.
I play fast and loose with canon but try to stay true to (what I perceive to be) the spirit of the characters. Note that neither Peter nor Wade are based on any movie versions.

Peter Parker is back but 5 years into the future and the world has changed. Peter goes home with May only to find she had moved on, with a husband and two kids.
Peter struggles to find his place in this new family with a strict step uncle, the longer he's there the harder he finds it to stay on his good side, uncertain if May will believe him.Contains physical abuse, emotional/verbal abuse, and May Parker being neglectful at the very least.
