Summary
After the Tempest was conquered, life around the Wayfarers Inn returned to normal. That is until a certain Vukakin visits, claiming her divine sword to have been stolen by a group of shadowy bandits. It seems like a one time incident until more stories of the mysterious bandits begin to pop up around Asteria. Who knows what exactly these strangers are planning, and what do they need with divine artifacts?
Or basically I miss Tavern Talk so I'm continuing the story :)

Summary
After Paralyte was defeated the interns were promoted to the new Infinights and the old Infinights faded into oblivion. Maybe they’re not ready to be replaced just yet.
Or basically Paralyte being in jail and Spectril comes back to Boulderay accidentally, various things happen and I’m terrible at writing summaries

Summary
Gillion Tidestrider was accustomed to his own blood.
In the Undersea, it caked his bruised knuckles, dripped from his swollen nose, and seeped between cracked lips.
His blood sang when he wielded his blade, each blow a reassurance of who he was. A champion, the Chosen One.
On the Albatross, Gillion grew used to his blood smeared on Jay’s fingers. Under the citrus touch of her magic, his blood blossomed across the strips of cloth used to cast Aid.
He scraped it off his skin, wiped it from his armor, and dug it out from under his nails.
Monsters, pirates, the Navy, friends, and foes—they all shed his blood. It, like Gill himself, was something to be used, wrung dry, and drained until nothing remained.-
The Navy has captured Gillion, and, with a rare triton on their hands, decide to use this opportunity to conduct some blood tests. Gill suffers for it.(aka me, the author, had a really bad blood draw a few days ago, and instead of processing it like a normal person, was like "how can i make them suffer.")

Summary
It was another day in Hearts, when the queen recieved some curious news. Catherine Pinkerton paused her duties of sending her subjects to the gallows, and embarked on yet another adventure down fate's path. A path that led her straight through white rose backyards, lemon-flavoured egg tarts and honey-eyed sweethearts.
—After finishing Heartless, I seriously couldn't accept the fact that Cath's fate ended the way it did. But it seemed as though there was no hope for an alternate ending, since twenty years later, we learn through Alice's eyes that Cath is still the Queen of Hearts, has had ten children with the king (dayum), and executes people mercilessly. I thought, is this really how Cath's story ends? After tons of research, spending hours combing through the original novels of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the looking glass, and of course overly analysing every tiny detail in Marissa's Heartless, I came up with a solution!—

Summary
It’s a quiet day at the tavern. Fable is my only customer so far today, and the sun is crawling toward the horizon outside the window. After the chaos of the world almost ending a couple times over, it seems everyone is taking a minute to recover.
Not that I could blame anyone—if I had to run around the continent fighting vengeful psychopaths because my bartender was too cowardly to clean up after their own shit, I probably wouldn’t fancy a drink for a while either.
But supposedly there’s a party of some kind in the works in a couple days, to celebrate surviving the apocalypse with the world and the party mostly intact. There’ll be feasting, singing and dancing, playing games and sharing tales—the whole shebang.
It sounds wonderful.
There’s just the one problem.
After the world nearly ended, everyone is hankering for a bit of celebration. Fable invites Innkeep to join the festivities—except, it's not quite that simple. Innkeep hasn't taken a step outside the tavern since it was created, and the thought of doing so now, even for a party with their favorite patrons and closest friends, is unthinkable. Thankfully, they're not alone.

Summary
Kris broke their promise. They knew the hell they would unleash by refusing to open a dark fountain in Flower King, and still, they couldn’t bring themself to do it. They crawled through an open window into the school, and tossed themself into the abyss at the bottom of the supply closet.
What they didn’t count on was for Susie to follow them.
From the southernmost point in Castle Town, she saw it all—the Knight’s arrival, the fountains bursting from the dark. Even the cell phone Kris left behind, still whirling and shrieking its incoherent tones. Then, suddenly, it turned on, and a single contact appeared: Noelle.
In the crumbling remains of Castle Town, it’s up to Ralsei and Susie to save the prophecy, the darkners, and in fact, the world as they know it. Armed with a fading connection to the chaos unfolding in the dark, Noelle faces the daunting task of recruiting the refugees of Castle Town for one final battle.
From the Card Kingdom to TV World, from the shelter to the school, the world is growing dark, darker, and darker still.

Summary
A clear, sunny day greets them when they step through the portal. The sky is a brilliant blue, a stark contrast to the dreadful grey and black that the crew had grown used to in the Black Sea, with faint wisps of white clouds dotting the open expanse. Birds cry and cartwheel freely above them, seagulls and osprey and sandpipers. Sunlight pours down on them from its midday position, warm and bright and nearly golden where it reflects off the sand and the waves. The waving blades of beach grass leading up to the hills of this island are lit up with fuzzy haloes that flicker as they move. Bugs chirp and buzz in cacophonous song, hidden in the living yellow grass.
It’s beautiful, and Chip gets to enjoy it for all of about six seconds.
-
or, Chip realizes the hard way he hasn't been in direct sunlight since he died.
