Shen Jiu let out a shuddering breath, but Tianlang-Jun continued before he could speak.
“A-Jiu wished our wedding had been easier for him. I only wished to give him that option. If he never used it, I would still be as happy as any living being could be.”
“Stupid,” Shen Jiu hissed, but it had little heat. His heart was racing. He had indeed thought of Tianlang-Jun’s ridiculous book for many days now and in his heart he couldn’t help but feel that sinking twist of regret whenever his mind replayed the scene of the two lovers’ wedding. How they had so easily given themselves to each other. The most perfect wedding night any two people could ask for.–or–
Shen Jiu reads a romance novel and Tianlang-Jun aims to grant any wish his wife makes.

Summary
Liu Qingge growled, seizing Shen Qingqiu by the collar of his inner robe. A tearing sound ripped through the air as Shen Qingqiu’s robe split. They both froze. Both looked down. Shen Qingqiu’s chest was now exposed to the waist. His cheeks heated as he whipped his gaze back up.
“You–” he spat. “Look what you’ve done!”
Liu Qingge’s eyes cut down to Shen Qingqiu’s bare chest, then back up to his eyes, then back down again. Repeat after repeat.-or-
Liu Qingge buys Shen Qingqiu a new set of robes after he accidentally destroys the previous set. They have an unexpected side effect.

Summary
Shen Jiu had no thought beyond getting out when Tianlang-Jun asked Shen Jiu to leave with him. With Qiu Jianluo’s body growing cold on the floor, his only consideration had been getting as far away from the Qiu estate as possible. Now that he was here in the demon realm, installed in a set of rooms somehow both more luxurious and more barren than any he’d ever been in, he found it didn’t matter that Tianlang-Jun had asked him to come, that he’d said yes. He didn’t want to be trapped anywhere again.
