Even the chakra signatures are frighteningly accurate. For a second, Hound recalls the seal’s sigil for “time,” but casts the thought aside as soon as it forms.
No. It’s convenient, too convenient. What better way to lower his guard then to appear wearing the guise of those he’d loved?

Summary
When all goes wrong, the only man left alive is Kakashi. After taking in the nine-tails Kakashi isn't sure what to do. Everyone is dead, and he is just a Hatake.
When something brings him to a cabin in the middle of a pocket dimension, he's even more confused.
It doesn't help that the entirety of Kakashi's past team is there, AND KUSHINA! How is he going to hide that he's a Jinchuuriki, but most importantly, how is he going to hide the future.
TLDR: Everyone but Kakashi dies, Kakashi and Kurama become friends, A few weeks pass, and Kakashi gets stuck in a pocket dimension with his 12 year old self, 12 year old Obito & Rin, Kushina, and Minato, the man who would abuse him after his fellow team members deaths.

Summary
Odysseus had finally made it home to roost, safe with his wife, son, and great-grandfather. He had even been making amends with Athena as of late- it was hard not to, seeing how good she was with Telemachus.
But he still had his nightmares. Of course he did. And while being back on open sea with his crew wasn’t the standard setup, seeing everyone he had once loved was pain enough and he knew it would get worse.
Except, he never woke up. Instead he started to change things.
And oh, that was more terrifying than a nightmare ever could be.
Or: Odysseus from “I’ll Be Home With Frayed Feathers” by FictionForLife_NZ wakes up the day after his crew depart from Troy, despite having made it home to heal.
