Which means that when Illuga evacuates Nod Krai and leaves Flins to face the Doctor without him by his side, he must have surely sentenced him to his death, just like all the others Illuga left behind before.

    It is only in the wake of that realization, as he deals with his grief, that Illuga finally allows himself his feelings for the other man.
