Happiness was something intangible, just a mere sense of emotion, yet Chousou could feel it between his fingers as if he was scooping a puddle of blood whenever he was with his family. If he didn't close his fingers fast enough, happiness would slip from his palms and fall to darkness below, forever lost and could no longer be returned.
