Summary
Dave really underestimated Trevor's influence over Michael. In my headcanon, the whole reason Dave kept Trevor around was because he hoped- or thought -that Michael would keep Trevor under control. Following my other comics, Dave is aware of the complicated relationship between Michael and Trevor, but he probably didn’t fully grasp how bad it was, seeing as he’s only heard one side of it.
He’s frustrated here because he can see that Michael is potentially reverting back to his old, uncontrollable self. And if Michael goes down by getting arrested, Dave goes down with him. His leash is starting to slip.

Summary
Post-Ludendorff heist. Michael is in hiding and hasn't been with this family for weeks now. Hopping from motel to motel in different cities. His hiding has been extended due to Trevor's manhunt. Now even longer he is alone with his thoughts and guilt is creeping over.

The relationship between Trevor and Michael has been straining and the rift is going ever wider. Brad pretty much bribes Trevor to fuck with Mike for a packet of drugs. Trevor in his own turmoil goes "why not, I want to anyway and I'll get high as well" A prank can go too far can it?
