Summary
“ Sasuke wondered for a second why he even needed the stupid stamp in the first place. He then recalled the conversation he had with Itachi and then the one he had with his father. Itachi told him things just had to be this way to ensure peace, or whatever. Apparently the Uchiha clan tried to do something bad, and this whole stamp thing was the compromise they came to with the Hokage. ”
Sasuke doesn’t like the fact that, just to be able to walk around his own village, he needs to carry around a stamp book. It was humiliating. It didn’t help that the guards sanctioned to collect his book and hand out stamps found it amusing to poke fun at him either.

Summary
"I hadn't planned to bring this up today, but why not... You have to know that being a shinobi... it's not a safe profession. Shinobi die, in the service of our village: from war, and missions that go wrong, and just... bad luck. And, Konoha has a system for making sure that the village's strongest shinobi have enough children to replace the ones who are lost. And, our system asks loyal kunoichi to bear those children. For various reasons, most kunoichi go when they're in their late teenage years; but Sakura got selected earlier, and that's how I met her," explains Kakashi.
