Summary
New York City, 2025. On the weekdays, Andy Sachs' job is Features Editor at Runway. On the weekends, she helps run a sex store. When an older man comes in to complain about his wife's lack of adventurousness in the bedroom, she does her best to help him in spite of her distaste. This sets off a very strange chain of events.

"It's not." Miranda cut shortly, elegantly leaning against the back of the sofa in her townhouse office.
"It is! She likes it every time I cook it." Emily crossed her arms, stopping her furious pacing right in front of Miranda.
"I'm telling you, it's not her favourite meal." Miranda kept her voice calm, lifting the glass of wine to her lips. She sipped deliberately slowly, as if her whole body was meant to express her power "I've been married to her for almost five years now. I should know my wife's favourite meal."
"Hello?? I'm her wife too!"
Yes, Emily was Andrea's wife too - and Miranda's actually - even if she had been added to the equation a year later.
OR
Miranda and Emily argue over their wife's favourite meal and Andrea is the peacemaker.

Summary
Emily never expected that making a call she had attempted twenty years ago, albeit with another try, would be the start of a very surprising yet not unwelcome new twist to her life. That call had signified reconnecting with Andrea, something Emily would probably always doubt if she was deserving of or not.
But one call turned into one lunch and one lunch into Andy messaging her about random things of her day, first once or twice a week and then throughout the seven days of the week. And eventually they started to hang out more regularly for lunches, coffees, brunchs.
One day their lunch breaks didn’t align for them to meet, so Emily suggested that they could have dinner instead.
OR: set after the last events of the movie this follows a year into the relationship. First dates and kisses and introductions. Andy just starts to blend perfectly in the Charlton family.
