    “Are you jealous?” The words come out in a whisper. It is not, by any means, what Malleus meant to say or ask, but he cannot say he regrets it either, not when he sees the emotions flickering in Kingscholar’s eyes.

    “… Don’t be stupid,” it says at last. Its fingers keep moving inside Malleus, in and out, slowly but surely guiding him towards another orgasm. “You can’t be jealous of what you don’t have.”

    “But—” Malleus stops, and swallows. His mind is nothing more than a whirlwind of confusion, of shock and confusion and something like hope. “—You have me now, do you not?”

    A beat of silence. Malleus’s heart beats so fast and loud that he cannot help but worry it will jump out of his chest. Yes. That is the only thing he needs to worry about, for he knows there is no way Kingscholar is not hearing it yet. Attempting to hide anything from it is not only useless, but also downright stupid.

    Again, Malleus gets more than he bargained for.
