    Zhao Yunlan stares at him for a very long moment, and Shen Wei is helpless to do anything besides stare back. They gaze at each other for too long, and then Zhao Yunlan's face cracks into a smile he never seems to be able to stop. 

    "You look like a sad puppy," Zhao Yunlan comments, his gaze fond. 

    "And yet, you're the one who needs a leash," Shen Wei replies, inwardly satisfied when Zhao Yunlan jolts in surprise at his boldness.
