Summary
"Sir Varka," how Flins can say a simple name with such melancholy, Varka will never understand. "Could I trouble you to return my lantern to the Cemetery? It's easier than having to carry me."
Flins lifts his lantern. The flames inside are dulled slightly, but the sight is so familiar it manages to put Varka at ease. He finds himself reaching for it without really meaning to.

Summary
The knight’s gaze flickers reluctantly towards the end of the light keeper’s finger.
“I see them, Flins. They’re just stars, there’s nothing special about ‘em.”
Flins’ expression softens slightly. “That is not true, I believe that they look different from here.”
“How so? It looks the same to me, Flins. The sky doesn’t just change ‘cause you think it does.”
During a severe depressive spiral, a certain Grand Master saves Flins from making a terrible mistake.

Summary
The shadows under Flins’ eyes speak louder than he ever will. Nights spent awake have left him worn thin, his body refusing the simple mercy of rest. He’s lived with it so long he almost believes this is all he deserves.
But the Grand Master thinks otherwise. If the Lightkeeper can’t find rest on his own, then he won’t let it stand.
Even the restless can find peace in the arms of someone they adore.

“May I,” Wriothesley hesitates. “May I help you sit up?” He’s just had his hands all over the Chief Justice, so this is an inane question, but that had been different. Neuvillette hadn’t been awake, hadn’t even been conscious. Now Wriothesley feels frozen in place, like he’s iced his own boots to the floor with a blast of misguided Cryo.
Neuvillette considers, a small line furrowing his brow. “I… think I might need you to, yes.”
