Summary
"Another one?" He'd asked, hoping the sheer boredom was enough to cover the modicum of surprise that had sparked. "Haven't you made enough already? Are you going to start making segments of the Segments?"
He'd laughed in that unctuous way of his, winding the wires he'd been tinkering with between his fingers.
"While that would be interesting, no, it's nothing so gratuitous, Balladeer. There is still ground to be covered."Yes. It was quite naive of him to think of Dottore as remotely reasonable, indeed.

Summary
He hadn't expected there to be someone on the island with him, and what reason would he have had to? The place was miserable! And abandoned! That was the whole reason he was out here, to investigate an abandoned graveyard, so when he caught a glimpse of a boot in his periphery, you'd have to forgive the noise he made.

Summary
"Watch your back, darling, don't stray too far from the flock."
Flock, indeed. It took all of fifteen minutes for Gale to put himself in a predicament. He'd thought the contents of the swamp were strange and, you know juvenile curiosity gets you everywhere these days. Maybe he touched something he shouldn't have ought to and found himself… polymorphed. Certainly not a spell he was unfamiliar with, no, but he couldn't ever say he'd been on the receiving end of it. Come to think of it, the distant mocking voice of a woman saying "look, but don't touch, dearie" was out of place, but think of it at the time he did not.
He took comfort in the fact that the polymorph would wear off eventually, in the meantime he could enjoy all the novelties of being a sheep. What fun. -
