Summary
Shadowheart’s carefully planned college life falls apart when Lae’zel becomes her unplanned roommate. What Shadowheart doesn’t remember is that they were once childhood sweethearts, before Shar erased Lae’zel from her memory. Now, forced into close quarters, Shadowheart struggles to repress feelings that feel new, but may only be resurfacing.
