    Kate is stubborn. She doesn't listen, even if it's her wife, leader of the New Avengers, telling her not to follow them on a mission that involves saving all universes. It only makes sense for her to drop off the dogs and follow after her. What she didn't expect was to meet Yelena in a damp hallway, and what she certainly didn't expect was for her to want to get intimate in said damp hallway. But Kate was nothing, yes even stubborn, if not ready for Yelena.

    If only she had known that wasn't Yelena.

    By the time she and Yelena were doing the final fitting, the dress was nearly complete—like it was supposed to be for a final fitting.

    Agatha was right next to them as Yelena tried it on.

    “Oh, wow,” Kate said, taking a step back as if to get the full picture.

    “It really does fit perfectly,” Agatha commented, sounding impressed.

    Yelena was too; she had doubted Kate’s photographic memory to get all the measures right.

    As Kate helped Yelena out of the dress, she felt her own face growing warm once again. Yelena pretended not to notice.
