The soft pink of Arwen's mouth marred by his blood was a sight altogether new to him, and it was making his heartbeat thrum like a hunted animal's. All he had to do, Aragorn told himself, was make it through dinner, then they could give their excuses and vanish into her bedchambers and... well.
Perhaps it was best not to think about what they could do. It was making the situation at hand much, much worse.
