Summary
There’s a first time for everything, Seokjin thinks, zoning out of the discussion around him. The man who’s talking is small and looks slightly nervous. His rigid posture seems half imposed by how starch and thick the fabric of his jacket is and half dictated by the atmosphere of the room. He’s talking in a calm, low voice that seems completely artificial.
Seokjin could recognise vocal training in a heartbeat.
Every once in a while the man’s eyes twitch towards him, almost involuntarily. Finally he pauses in his speech and takes out a small, thick envelope closed by a seal. Seokjin’s name is written on it in black ink.
“Finally, the last clause of Kim Yejin’s will,” He says, more confidently staring at Seokjin now. “Kim Yejin’s last place of residence is to go to her nephew, Kim Seokjin, against the promise that he will renovate it and find someone deserving of living there if he doesn’t want to himself. I have a letter for you, from her, and the keys as well. I assume you know where the estate is?”

“You and Seokjin have not officially mated.” A statement. Jungkook turns to him and shakes his head.
“No, abeonim.”
“I wonder what he's waiting for. Surely, you’re not the one who’s going to mark him, look at you.” Jungkook flinches, the words hitting him hard.
They were waiting for Jungkook to graduate before marking each other. Sure, Seokjin’s father didn’t know that, but insinuating it this way made it seem like Seokjin didn’t want to mark Jungkook and it hurt him.

Where Seokjin and Jungkook go home for the holidays and Jungkook is introduced as Seokjin's mate. Since they're both alphas, Seokjin's father is not really fond of their relationship and lets Jungkook know. It's all fine until it isn't anymore and Jungkook thinks Seokjin should be with an omega instead of him.

Summary
