Yelena makes her eyes comically wide. “You have a secret admirer?”
“What? No,” Sam says. “It’s just, I dunno, a fan, or something.”
“A fan,” Yelena echoes, in a tone of voice that somehow manages to make it sound filthy.
Honestly, the idea hadn’t even occurred to Sam before now. Even if he’d thought about dating since the Blip, which he really hasn’t, it isn’t like he has the time to get to know people who might become admirers, secret or not. Pretty much everybody he spends time with is either down in Delacroix—family, or neighbors he’s known since he was waist-high—or lives in this building.
And, actually, he’s fine with that.
(Or: Sam starts receiving gifts from a secret admirer. Thing is, he's not so sure he wants a secret admirer—or any admirer. Because he maybe, kind of, already has what he wants, if he can just convince himself to reach out and take it.)

Summary
The last time someone had been so gentle with Sam is a distant memory. He doesn’t recall the last touch of adoration that kissed his extremity. It feels like he’s breaking at the surface as Bucky’s calloused hands graze against his skin. The balmy touch of the man’s familiar fingers are tearing him apart in the most gentle way possible. Bucky is seeping through the cracks he is making. For once, Sam doesn’t want to stop him. His body is screaming for the delicacy Bucky has when his hands are holding Sam.
-(What if Sam is hurt and Bucky takes care of him? Bucky patches up some of Sam's wounds in more ways than one.)
