'How could he play it off like that?'
Zhuo YiChen questioned to himself, fuming with anger.
While not some moments ago in the forbidden area of the Bing Yi Clan, Zhao YuanZhou promised him that he would not seek death anymore.
But here he was, casually giving up his inner core in exchange for the dragon scale as if it was the most normal thing to do in this world.
'But why does it hurt so much as if it's my inner core that has been ripped apart?'
Zhuo YiChen asked to himself in his mind.
It's no doubt that he cared for Zhao YuanZhou, like a friend would do, but now it seemed that's not just the case.
Or, Zhuo YiChen realises that his feelings for Zhao YuanZhou runs deeper than he had thought it was.
So, after weighing his choices, he finally decides to confess his feelings to the Da Yao, regardless of his feelings getting reciprocated or not.
Atleast, he'd have no regrets this way, that's what he thought.
But what will happen if things turn out differently for him? How would Zhuo YiChen react to that? Will he be overjoyed or heartbroken?
