Summary
A very reluctant Avatar:
One of the male sages cleared his throat to speak up, "We are the Fire Nation's Sages, and we've been tasked with a matter of the utmost importance: finding the next Avatar."
Vi let out a snorted laugh. "Okay? Well, you're in the wrong place."
The woman stepped forward. She was rather young, especially compared to the older, grey haired men. She confidently stated, "I don't believe we are."
As she ended her sentence, she planted her foot and extended a balled fist toward Vi. A line of fire shot out toward the redhead.
Without thinking, Vi swirled her hands before her in a circular motion, creating an air shield, and pushed them outward to disperse the fire.
The room went silent as the fire disappeared and the wind from the conjured air stilled. Vi returned her hands to rest on her knees and her eyes were wide at her own mistake.
"Fuck," she whispered.
Golden eyes shimmered, and a smile crept onto the woman's lips. "As I was saying, Miss Lane, we'd like you to come with us.”Bookmarked by Deforestation_Starter

Summary
**MAJOR SPOILERS for The Hardest Thing and the rest of Amphibia**
The Three-Stones-Deity is not infallible. In ten thousand years of existence, only once had someone used their stones for good. That lone person had further still proved their thinking flawed upon being offered what was essentially godhood. They had even undershot their corporeal representation by a few decades for Frog’s sake. So it was not exactly a surprise when there was a minor hiccup with returning Anne Boonchuy to Amphibia. As promised, the Three-Stones-Deity did return her to the world she loved so dearly, but then why was it so different than she remembered? Remnants of the Core are not raining down on Amphibia. Her closest friends and frog family are nowhere to be seen when they were surely gathered around her just moments ago. Newtopia has been fully rebuilt… and it’s five years later?!
Or, the Three-Stones-Deity messed up when sending Anne back to Amphibia. Instead of returning her immediately, they accidentally placed her five years into the future.

Summary
Darius Deamonne was at the height of his career--a high-powered creative director for a top-tier fashion conglomerate. He had the penthouse, the tailored suits, and a reputation for being untouchable. That changed the night he found a five-year-old boy huddled behind a dumpster in a rain-slicked alley near his office.
The boy, Hunter, was wearing a shirt three sizes too big and had a jagged, angry scar across his cheek that looked like it had been "treated" with nothing but a dirty bandage and time.
Darius didn't think; he just acted. He traded his $3,000 silk trench coat to wrap the shivering child. After a week of visiting the hospital every night and realizing the state's foster system was overwhelmed, Darius made a decision that shocked the corporate world. He quit. He filed for emergency kinship/adoption papers, sold the penthouse, and bought a house with a yard in a quiet town called Gravesfield.
The transition to "Dad" was a disaster at first. Darius didn't know how to cook anything that wasn't a five-course meal, and Hunter was a ball of nervous energy who apologized for "taking up space."
Everything changed when they met the Nocedas.Bookmarked by Deforestation_Starter
