From the minute they’d met, he defied her expectations. Unlike the other boys he was with, he never tried to flirt with her. Most of the time he just made pleasantries. Once or twice she caught him lookin’, but his glance always flicked away just as fast, respectful-like.
He’d smelled nice, like leather and fancy cologne, and he never stared at her chest. Never made it seem like he was trying too hard not to either. He’d always looked her right in the eye.

But when the woman he marries ends up traveling with them around Eos, Ignis struggles with balancing his duty to Noctis with his duty to her, especially as he is forced to determine exactly what he’s willing to sacrifice on their journey to fulfill the will of the gods.
