Alex has seen Henry angry, but he’s only ever been angry over Alex. On Alex’s behalf. Over someone treating him badly, like when one of the many Viscounts, who all looked alike to be honest, insinuated that Alex was no better than Henry having a dalliance with a stable boy. Or when Henry’s grandfather had sent him a special invitation for a dinner at the palace, and he was very clear on the matter of Alex not being invited.
Henry will put up with anything someone tries to do to him, and he had for almost a quarter of a century, but Henry will not put up with someone hurting Alex.
