The TARDIS lands Thirteen and her companions in Apalapucia, in the middle of the Doctor’s own time stream. Alternatively, Thirteen gets to say goodbye to Amy Pond, one last time.
Basically, an excuse for me to give older Amy a semblance of a proper goodbye, and a far less lonely ending. Set sometime after series 12, but this was written long before series 13 aired.

Summary
Stormlight healing works off of self-image, restoring a Radiant to their “rightful state.” Which means that Kaladin’s slave brands don’t heal because views them as part of himself.
But that’s the thing. Kaladin’s never viewed himself as a slave, not entirely. He resisted the slave mentality, kept fighting, refused to bow to lighteyes. He’s been a bridgeman, a wretch, a soldier, a surgeon—but “slave” was never a label he accepted.
There is another brand, though. Shash. Dangerous.
