Summary

“Hang on, now Darlin’,” a sudden, brusque tug pulled her down and she lost her footing, falling into his lap.
She felt his breath on her neck, his lips brushing the shell of her ear when he spoke, “I don’t think I heard you right.” She gulped, stomach dropping as one of his arms snaked around her waist, the other came up to rest on her throat. She needed to disentangle herself, to get away from him, but he was too strong, and if she was being honest, she wasn’t trying terribly hard to get away. Lucy wasn’t sure she even wanted whatever was happening to stop.
“You tellin’ me Miss Prim and fuckin’ Proper was fixin’ to sneak into my room and let me break her in before her lil boyfriend?”

After losing her father and being abandoned by the Ghoul, Lucy spirals even with Max by her side, unsure of what she wants or who she is anymore. Luckily, a familiar face returns to help her explore all her worst impulses and vices to escape herself. But her evolving relationship with the Ghoul begins to drive a wedge between her and Max.
