Summary
Long before the Erdtree cast its golden light upon the world, another flame burned in the sky—smaller, yet untamed. It offered no grace, no destiny. It simply burned… alive, fierce, free. And for that, it was silenced, erased by the gods and buried beneath ages of lies.
Now, amidst ruins and fading echoes, a Tarnished awakens. But it is not Grace that guides him—it is a memory that aches. Not a name, nor a face, but the gentle warmth of something that should no longer exist.
As the world clings to broken cycles and borrowed will, he moves forward. Not for power. Not for glory. But because he cannot ignore what burns within him.
He does not seek to rule.
He seeks to remember.
And in doing so, he threatens to unveil a truth the gods tried to erase:
Before the tree… there was light.
And this time, it will not be forgotten.

Summary
A little ways into the fight, Radahn-who-is-not-Radahn collapses to his knees. Ranni wonders if it can truly be over; before his death, he would never have fallen so easily. Perhaps undeath has weakened him. There is no precedent for this, so anything is possible. But then—
Soft, bright, white-gold light. A soft, familiar voice.
“Lord brother… at last, you have returned.”
And Ranni finally grasps the shape of things.
or: Ranni learns what's become of her brother Radahn. She is... less than pleased.
