Summary
Strange promised he'd send Peter to a universe with no Peter Parker. A place he'll be safe and have someone to take care of him. A dumpster in a strange crime-ridden city doesn't seem to fit that description. Ugh and he's tiny. At least he has Karen. Ready to give up on family, Peter tries to build a place for him in this universe. But the local vigilantes and local billionaire family seem to take a weird interest in him.

Summary
Peter Parker wakes up injured in some back street of Gotham, New Jersey. He has no memory of how he got there or any idea how he is going to get home. But it turns out, he might have bigger issues than how he'll get back to Queens. From memory loss to strange nightmares, Peter feels like there's something deeper going on here; there had to be some reason he was brought here.
And when young folks start turning up dead in Crime Alley, he realizes he was right. Unfortunately.

Peter cannot afford for anything to tip the perfectly balanced scales in either direction
Peter definitely cannot afford for anyone to discover that he's not only alone in the world, but that he's homeless and barely holding everything together
Also Peter is pretty sure that if anyone discovers Spider-Man is just a kid that there would be consequences and repercussions that would wreck the life he is constantly having to stitch back together
