Summary
Queen Victoria's heart is broken. She has bowed to pressure and has agreed to a marriage with her cousin, Prince Albert of Saxe Coburg. Following her wedding, the true love of her life and former Prime Minister, Lord Melbourne, will retire from politics and retreat to his beloved Brocket Hall to tend his orchids and live a much simpler life. Victoria is not willing forget him however, and is determined to find a way to retain some form of his presence in her life.
